I don't have access to 64bit machines with freebsd to try, but if i have to guess i'd say that if 32bit binaries can be run on the 64bit sistem then the flash plugin should also work.

Hi

Well unfortunately you are right... the plugin is not perfect. Sites like youtube , google video require a newer version of the plugin. The flash9 plugin works with linux-firefox but it's not stable ( crashes after 20-30 sec of playback ).

In libmap.conf i use just [libflashplayer.so] because I've noticed opera has problems loading the plugin otherwise.

For now i'm sticking with flash7 and use noscript extension to block flash :)

Some issues I've noticed, No sound on youtube, video.google.com and some, not all, myspace pages(suprise.. not) freezes Firefox, calling for a kill -15 or -9.

Also, had to change
[/usr/local/lib/npapi/linux-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so]
to read
[/usr/local/lib/browser_plugins/libflashplayer.so]
